An expansive vocalist who melds the glam and drive of rock n’ roll with the introspection and experimentation of ‘90s songwriters, Talullah Ruff unifies visual artistry with her piano-driven storytelling. Her love of literature and puzzling words together has resulted in over 200 unreleased songs and two unpublished novels, as well as a multitude of short stories, poems, scripts, and comics. She strives to provide refuge and catharsis in her music– but also to provide an accurate reflection of human behavior, no matter how ugly or uncomfortable the depiction may feel to the listener. She self-produced and released debut EP What Is Honest in 2017 with an accompanying self-published lyric and art zine. Ruff is currently finishing its followup while performing across New York City.
